Tamirul Millat Madrasa tops again, 661 achieve GPA-5

Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa has retained its top spot in the 2025 Kamil exam results under the Madrasah Board, with 1,260 out of 1,272 students passing. A total of 661 achieved GPA-5, including 532 boys and 129 girls. Twelve students failed. The results were published simultaneously at institutions and websites on Thursday at 11:00am.

In science, 390 students and in humanities, 271 from the madrasa scored GPA-5.

The overall pass rate across nine general, madrasah, and technical boards is 58.83%, with 69,097 achieving GPA-5. The Madrasah Board's pass rate dropped to 75.61% from 93.40% last year. In Alim, 75.61% passed (down from 93.40%), with 4,268 achieving GPA-5 (down from 9,613).

The results were announced at 10:00am from all 11 boards. The 2025 pass rate is lower than 2024's 77.78%. In 2024, 1,388 institutions had 100% pass rates; this year, it's 345, a drop of 1,043.

Girls outperformed boys, with 59,232 more passing and 4,991 more achieving GPA-5.

How to check results

Students can access HSC and equivalent results in three ways:

  1. Visit www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd, click Result corner, enter institution's EIIN to download institution-based result sheet.
  2. Go to www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, enter roll and registration numbers to download result sheet.
  3. Via SMS: Type HSC and send to 16222. Example: HSC Dha 123456 2024 to 16222.

Re-scrutiny applications for HSC and equivalent exams start October 17. Inter-Education Board Chairman Khandaker Ehsanul Kabir said submissions can be made via www.rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd from October 17-23. Details will be available on board websites and newspapers.
