Essential Documents for National University Undergrad Admission 2025-26
Following the publication of the first merit list for the 2025-26 academic session, the National University (NU) has detailed the mandatory documents and registration procedures for successful candidates. With a pass rate of 80.36%, the university is now preparing for the enrollment phase, which begins tomorrow, Tuesday, May 5.
According to the official notification signed by Dr. Md. Asheq Kabir Chowdhury and Deputy Registrar Md. Abul Kashem, students placed in the first merit list must complete their final admission forms online by May 17. The printed or PDF copies of these forms must be collected after logging into the university’s admission portal with the correct Application ID and PIN.
To finalize their enrollment at their respective colleges, candidates are required to submit the following documents:

Online Admission Form: The final version printed from the university portal.

Admission Test Admit Card: The original copy used during the entrance exam.

Academic Transcripts and Certificates: Both original and photocopies of SSC and HSC mark sheets and certificates.

Testimonial: The original HSC testimonial or character certificate from the last institution attended.

Identification: A photocopy of the National ID (NID) card. In the absence of an NID, a photocopy of the Birth Registration Certificate is mandatory.

Photographs: Two to three copies of recent passport-sized photographs.
Students must deposit a registration fee of BDT 1,130 to their respective colleges between May 6 and May 18. This payment can be made either directly at the college or through the mobile banking channels specified by the institution. College authorities will verify the submitted documents and finalize the admissions between May 6 and May 19.
This year, a total of 229,765 students secured positions in the first merit list across three streams: 113,394 from Humanities, 65,337 from Science, and 51,034 from the Business Studies group. University officials have urged students to complete the documentation process within the stipulated deadlines to ensure their seats.
