DU, JnU, RU Announced Admission Test Dates for 2026-27

Dhaka University, Jagannath University and Rajshahi University have announced tentative dates for undergraduate admission tests for the 2026-27 academic year. Dhaka University will begin its tests in December, while the other two universities will start theirs in January 2027.

Dhaka University

According to decisions taken at the General Admission Committee meeting held on Sunday (August 2) at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, online applications for undergraduate admission will open at noon on November 11 and close at 11:59 pm on November 25.

The tentative admission test schedule is:

  • IBA Unit: December 5
  • Science Unit: December 12
  • Arts, Law and Social Sciences Unit: December 19
  • Fine Arts Unit: December 22
  • Business Studies Unit: December 26

Jagannath University

Jagannath University will begin its undergraduate and BBA first-year admission tests on January 1, 2027. Applicants will be able to submit applications online from noon on November 15 until 11:59 pm on December 10.

The decisions were taken at the 80th meeting of the university’s Academic Council on Sunday (August 9), chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Reza Uddin.

The tentative schedule is:

  • A Unit (Science and Life & Earth Sciences): January 1
  • E Unit (Fine Arts): January 8
  • B Unit (Arts and Law): January 15
  • C Unit (Business Studies): January 22
  • D Unit (Social Sciences): January 23

Rajshahi University

Rajshahi University’s admission subcommittee proposed a tentative admission test schedule at a meeting held at the vice-chancellor’s office at 11 am on Sunday (August 16). Professor Dr SM Kamruzzaman, administrator of the university’s Public Relations Office, told The Daily Campus that the admission subcommittee had recommended beginning the tests with the B Unit.

The proposed schedule is:

  • B Unit: January 8
  • C Unit: January 9
  • A Unit: January 16

The admission subcommittee has proposed opening online applications from November 12 to November 27. A preliminary decision has also been made to hold the 2026-27 admission tests in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Chattogram, Mymensingh and Sylhet.
