NU Honors Admission Test 2025-26: Check Science Unit Question Here
The first-year undergraduate Honors admission test for the 2025-2026 academic session at National University concluded today, Saturday, April 25. The examination was held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in 138 selected centers across divisional and district cities. This year, the Science Unit saw a large number of aspirants participating in the newly reintroduced written examination system.
The Science Unit admission test was conducted through a 100-mark Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) paper with a one-hour time limit. The question paper was structured to test candidates on both language and core scientific disciplines. Specifically, the distribution included 20 marks for Bangla, 20 marks for English, and 20 marks for General Knowledge. The remaining 40 marks were allocated to science-group subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, allowing students to demonstrate their analytical and technical skills.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A.S.M. Amanullah provided detailed statistics during a press conference at the university's city office. He noted that 475,432 students originally applied for the admission test, with 453,148 confirming their applications. By the evening of April 23, admit cards had been issued to 433,519 candidates. With over 4.5 lakh students participating across all units, the competition remains tight, with roughly two students competing for each available seat.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must secure a minimum pass mark of 35 out of 100. The university confirmed that no negative marks were deducted for wrong answers, a policy consistent across all units this year. The final ranking will be determined out of 200 marks, combining the MCQ test score with weighted results from SSC (40%) and HSC (60%) examinations. The authorities have emphasized that the OMR sheets will be processed swiftly to publish the results on the official portal as soon as possible.
The complete Science Unit question paper and detailed answer keys will be available on The Daily Campus website shortly for examinees to review their performance.
