The National University (NU) authorities have issued a new set of statutory guidelines regarding the extraction, correction, and verification of academic certificates through its central One-Stop Service Center. According to an official notification published by the university administration recently, the revised regulations strictly streamline the verification process for students seeking urgent documentation.

The directive specifies that candidates must be physically present to receive their final credentials and transcript verifications. However, the university has introduced an emergency relaxation clause for applicants who are genuinely incapacitated by severe illness or are currently residing abroad.

Under these exceptional circumstances, the university will permit the applicant's immediate blood relatives to accept the requested documents on their behalf. This proxy facility is strictly limited to the candidate’s father, mother, brother, sister, or legally wedded spouse.

To utilize this authorization, the designated representative must formally present certified medical documents or foreign residency proofs verifying the candidate's absence. Furthermore, the proxy must bring the original academic registration card of the student for physical validation at the counter.

To ensure a seamless verification workflow, the university administration has made it mandatory to submit a structured set of dossiers depending on the category of service. Applicants are directed to organize their files according to the official inventory before approaching the service desks:

  • Financial Proof: The original depositor’s copy of the university bank pay-slip.

  • Application Printout: A physical hard copy of the submitted online application form.

  • Final Certificate Extraction: The authentic, original copy of the provisional certificate.

  • Document Correction: The original copy of the erroneous or flawed document requiring rectification.

  • Duplicate Document Issuance: The original Police General Diary (GD) report alongside the specific newspaper advertisement cutting regarding the lost credential.

  • Identity Verification: The original National Identity Card (NID) for spot verification, along with a photocopy for the university archives.
