National University Publishes Honours Final-Year Results in Record 47 Working Days
National University has published the results of the 2024 Honours final-year (fourth-year) examinations in just 47 working days, setting a new record for the university’s examination management. Last year, it took 89 days to publish the Honours final-year results.
The results were published by the university’s Controller of Examinations Office on Monday (August 31).
A total of 232,624 students from 881 affiliated colleges participated in the examinations. The average pass rate was 65.10 percent. Students will be able to check their results from 5pm on the National University results website.

National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr ASM Amanullah said the results were published within 47 working days as part of efforts to accelerate the examination and result publication process.
“Publishing the Honours final-year examination results within 47 working days is a new benchmark for National University. Considering the time and future of students, our goal is to make every stage, from conducting examinations to publishing results, more efficient. This achievement is the result of coordinated efforts by the teachers, examiners, officers, employees and administration concerned. This continuity will be maintained in the future,” he said.
The 2024 Honours final-year examinations began on April 30, 2026, and ended on June 15, 2026.
The university said it reserves the right to correct any inconsistencies or errors found in the published results or, if necessary, cancel the results entirely.
