National University Revives College Rankings after Six Years
The National University (NU) has initiated moves to publish its college rankings after a six-year hiatus. The performance of affiliated public and private honors colleges will be evaluated based on designated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to select the top institutions at both national and divisional levels.
The development was confirmed in a notification issued by the National University on Thursday (May 15).
According to the notice, the university has launched the "University College Ranking 2025" process to select the top eight colleges nationally, alongside 10 top colleges from each division, totaling 88 institutions.
Affiliated colleges have been instructed to submit their KPI-related data for the period spanning January 1 to December 31, 2025. The data must be submitted through the designated website using college codes and passwords by June 18, 2026. Principals of the respective colleges have been requested to take necessary measures in this regard following directives from the NU Vice-Chancellor.
The university administration noted that the final rankings will be published in the media, and the selected colleges will be honored with awards and recognitions at a national ceremony.
