SUST publishes first-year admission circular for 2025-26 session

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Sylhet has released the admission circular for the 2025-26 undergraduate first-year programmes. Online applications will open on 8 December and continue until 20 December.

The notice, signed by Admission Test Committee Member-Secretary Prof Dr Mohammad Selim, was published on Sunday (30 November).

Eligibility criteria

• Candidates must have passed SSC/equivalent in 2022 or 2023 and HSC/equivalent in 2024 or 2025.

Unit-wise minimum requirements

• A Unit (Science): Minimum GPA 3.0 in both SSC and HSC with combined GPA 6.5. Must have at least GPA 3.0 in Mathematics at HSC (or Grade C at A-Level).
• B Unit (All streams): Minimum GPA 3.0 in both SSC and HSC with combined GPA 6.0.

Special provisions apply for Diploma-in-Engineering and GCE candidates (details available on the admission portal).

Admission test schedule

• A Unit: 13 January, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
• B Unit: 14 January, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Application fees

• A1 (Science): Tk 1,250
• A2 (Architecture): Tk 1,400
• B Unit: Tk 1,200
