All nine universities will participate in the agriculture cluster admission test for the 2025-26 academic year. A meeting to decide the schedule will be held this week. This time, Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) will lead the process.

A vice-chancellor of one of the cluster universities confirmed this to The Daily Campus. He said, "The first meeting of the admission committee is on November 14. The admission test dates will be finalized that day. Like last year, there will be nine universities this time."

It is learned that BAU had indicated it would conduct its admission test independently. Later, it decided to stay in the cluster. Thus, BAU's admission test will be held under the agriculture cluster system, as in previous years.

BAU Registrar and Central Admission Committee Member-Secretary Dr. Md. Helal Uddin shared this information. Earlier, during the 2024-25 admission test, BAU's Vice-Chancellor had said, "We will stay in the cluster only if BAU leads the agriculture cluster test for five consecutive years. Otherwise, BAU will conduct its own test."

The universities under the agriculture cluster are Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gazipur Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.
