Teachers and employees in private educational institutions handle all tasks—from new MPO enlistment and index cancellations to other processes—through the Education Management Information System (EMIS) cell of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE or Maushi). However, for the past few days, they have been unable to access the server, causing significant hardship in submitting MPO applications.

Teacher Md Khalid Hasan said: "I was deprived of recommendation in the 6th gazette notification. But with the EMIS cell's server down, I can't apply for MPO. I'm very worried about this."

The Daily Campus spoke to multiple officials from Maushi and the EMIS cell on Sunday (October 26). They stated the server is temporarily offline due to technical upgrades. "It will be back online very soon," they assured.

Anonymously, an EMIS cell programmer told The Daily Campus: "The server is closed temporarily for technical glitches and development. Work is underway to resolve it. We're optimistic about restoring the main server tomorrow, Monday (October 27)."

With the server down, teachers-employees can't apply for October salaries. On solutions, the programmer added: "We've provided institution heads with an alternative link for salary-allowance bill submissions. They can use it to submit bills as per previous procedures."
