Over 100,000 Hits on Transfer Software Cause Disruption; DSHE Advises Teachers
The digital window for gathering transfer applications and institutional data from MPO-enlisted teachers and employees working in non-government schools and colleges closes today, Wednesday. However, server complications peaked during the final stretch as more than 100,000 educators attempted to access the portal simultaneously at noon, causing severe processing bottlenecks. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has advised struggling applicants to persist with their submissions continuously until the official deadline expires.
A physical inspection at the DSHE headquarters revealed that the internal digital infrastructure faced immense pressure around 2:30 PM today, when concurrent user sessions breached the 100,000 mark. The sudden traffic spike caused response times to plunge dramatically, prompting hundreds of anxious teachers to contact the relevant administrative desks of the directorate for a remedy.
Final-Day Bottlenecks and Technical Surges
Many applicants reported encountering errors even when entering flawless credentials, indicating that the server's database was unable to execute the massive volume of parallel requests.
An affected teacher, who traveled from the capital’s Agargaon area to seek direct assistance, described the technical hurdle to The Daily Campus.
"Even though the index numbers and institutional data for almost all the teachers at our institution are completely accurate, the system refuses to process and accept our final submissions. When we brought this directly to the attention of the DSHE Non-Government School and College division, the officials simply told us to keep trying to submit without stopping."

No Policy Plans to Extend Submissions
Senior DSHE officials speaking to The Daily Campus attributed the server crisis to a common trend of last-minute submissions, pointing out that a significant portion of the teaching community delayed their entries until the final date. The authorities emphasized that completing this digital documentation remains an absolute mandatory prerequisite for the upcoming centralized transfer process, meaning educators have no choice but to successfully upload their information.
Addressing worries regarding potential schedule adjustments, the directorate clarified that there is currently no administrative plan or proposal on the table to extend the application timeline. The operational desk reiterated that since the window shuts precisely at midnight, users must continue refreshing and trying to process their records during off-peak windows later in the evening when user traffic is expected to stabilize.
