No SSC Questions Leaked: Education Board Urges Vigilance Against Rumors
The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has officially dismissed allegations of question paper leaks in the ongoing SSC examinations, labeling such claims as fake and misleading. In a cautionary notice issued this afternoon, the board warned that a dishonest circle is attempting to create panic and moral degradation among students, parents, and the general public to tarnish the government's image.
The notice, signed by Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Hyder, Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Education Board, was released today, Saturday (April 25).
The board highlighted recent successful operations by the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of the police. On April 20, the City Intelligence Analysis Division identified a Facebook page titled ‘SSC 2026 Question Paper Leak Group’ through social media monitoring.
Following technical analysis, a specialized CTTC team conducted a raid on April 23 in the Jirabo Tangur area of Ashulia, Dhaka, arresting four individuals, including the ringleader. According to the board, these individuals were involved in spreading false information about question leaks for illegal financial gain and to disrupt the smooth conduct of the examinations.
The Education Board emphasized that the "questions" circulated by these scammers do not match the actual exam papers. The authorities urged everyone to remain vigilant and not fall prey to the fraudulent activities and propaganda being spread on social media.
The board reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process and requested stakeholders to ignore rumors that aim to create unnecessary anxiety during this critical academic period.
