July accord signing on Oct 17, CA meets political parties tonight
A meeting of the National Conference for Consensus was held on Wednesday at the state guest house Jamuna, chaired by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, to prepare for the signing of the July National Charter 2025.
The Chief Adviser will attend another meeting this evening with political parties at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital to discuss overall preparations and related matters.
The afternoon meeting included Commission Co-Chair Professor Ali Riaz, members Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Safar Raj Hossain, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, Dr. Md. Ayub Miah, and the Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haider.
National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman and the Chief Adviser’s Principal Secretary Md. Siraj Uddin Miah were also present.
The signing of the July National Charter 2025 is scheduled for October 17 at the South Plaza of the National Parliament House.
