IMF Asia-Pacific Director Calls on PM Tarique Rahman

Krishna Srinivasan, the Director of the Asia and Pacific Department (APD) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today.
The IMF official met with the Premier at the Cabinet Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat this morning, according to Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Saleh Shibly.
While the meeting was described as a courtesy call, it comes at a time of ongoing engagement between the global lender and the Bangladesh government regarding economic cooperation.
