Inqilab Moncho demands formation of tribunal for Osman Hadi murder case
Inqilab Moncho has demanded immediate formation of a judicial tribunal to ensure fair and speedy trial in the murder of its spokesperson martyr Sharif Osman Hadi. They have also demanded assistance from international intelligence agencies if necessary.
Member-Secretary of Inqilab Moncho Abdullah Al Jaber made this demand at a press conference in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh on Monday (22 December). He said two matters need immediate action. Speedy judicial tribunal and assistance from professional intelligence for the work of this tribunal.
He further said, ‘We cannot delay. To make the election stable and fair, killers of Osman Hadi must be arrested quickly. This is our demand.’
He said, ‘We gave 24-hour ultimatum to the government that fair accountability must be ensured in this incident. But they did not do it. At 3 pm, we have called protest procession from Inqilab Moncho side. After protest, we will announce programme whether we are with this government or movement to topple this government will start from Inqilab Moncho itself. This will be our demand.’
Abdullah Al Jaber said, ‘Justice for Osman Hadi's murder will not happen, but to protect government stability, liaison with us must be done sitting, the team for that Osman Hadi did not create. Even if people of Bangladesh do not stay with Osman Hadi's team, they will sit on streets demanding justice for his murder. Osman Hadi's is not a team to sit at home without ensuring justice.’
