DU Admission Test Circular Published

Dhaka University (DU) has released the admission test notice for the undergraduate programmes for the 2025-2026 academic year. The announcement was made on Monday (October 20) through a notice published on the university’s official website.
According to the notice signed by the Acting Registrar of Dhaka University, Munshi Shamsuddin Ahmad, only students who passed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examinations between 2020 and 2023, and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examinations in 2025, and meet the specified eligibility criteria for various units, will be able to apply for admission to the undergraduate programmes for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, to 11:59 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025. The application fee is Tk 1,050 (one thousand fifty). Students can pay the fee through any branch of four state-owned commercial banks (Sonali, Janata, Agrani, and Rupali) or online using debit/credit cards or mobile financial services.
Admission Test Schedule
As per the schedule, the admission test for the Arts, Law, and Social Sciences Unit will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025; the Science Unit test on Saturday, December 20, 2025; the Business Studies Unit test on Saturday, December 6, 2025; and the Fine Arts Unit test (General Knowledge and Drawing) on Saturday, November 29, 2025. All unit tests will be conducted from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Additionally, the IBA Unit admission test will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Examination Centres
Except for the Fine Arts Unit and IBA Unit, the admission tests for the other three units will be held in Dhaka and eight divisional cities. The divisional centres include Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, Barisal University, Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, Kabi Nazrul University in Trishal, and Begum Rokeya University.
It was learned that these decisions were made during a meeting of the General Admission Committee held on Monday (October 20) at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University. The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Niaz Ahmed Khan.
The meeting was attended by Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Sayma Haque Bidisha, Treasurer M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Proctor, Convener of the Online Admission Committee, Deans of various faculties, Provosts of different halls, Chairpersons of various departments, Directors of various institutes, and relevant officials.
