Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib Named AACSB Regional Network Virtual Ambassador
Professor Dr. Md. Mamun Habib, Head of the Department of General Management at the School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), and Principal Contact Person for AACSB, has been appointed as the AACSB Regional Network Virtual Ambassador by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), USA, on 24 September 2025.
As the sole representative from Bangladesh in this prestigious role, Professor Habib, a distinguished researcher with over 250 publications and approximately 3,700 citations, will represent his regional network and foster institutional engagement through the AACSB Exchange platform. His responsibilities include coordinating with member institutions to enhance collaboration and promote professional learning among AACSB-affiliated universities.
The appointment was announced by Brittaney Mericle, Membership Community Manager of AACSB International, as part of a global initiative to connect business schools through academic collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The SBE at IUB has been an AACSB member since 2015, reflecting the university’s commitment to global academic networks and excellence in business education standards.
