PSTU to Cancel Admission if New Students Miss First 14 Days

Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) has announced that classes for the 2024-25 academic year for students admitted under the Agriculture and GST clusters will begin on August 25 and 26, respectively. Students failing to attend within 14 days of the start date will have their enrollment automatically canceled, according to university authorities.
A notice signed by Registrar (Additional Duty) Professor Dr. Md. Iktiar Uddin states that the orientation for Agriculture cluster students is scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2025, and for GST cluster students on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the TSC Conference Room. From August 27, admitted students must attend their respective faculties and participate in academic activities per the “PSTU Academic Profile.” Failure to join classes within 14 days will result in automatic cancellation of admission.
Students must contact their respective hall provost offices from August 24 to secure hall room assignments, which will be allocated based on merit and availability. They must bring the “Acknowledgement Slip” provided during final admission and receipts for hall fees. Students admitted on-spot on July 20, 2025, must complete the online admission form at admission.pstu.ac.bd by August 18 to confirm hall assignments.
Those who migrated to PSTU’s DVM/AH programs from Agriculture/Fisheries must contact their faculty to pay outstanding fees. Students previously admitted to other Agriculture cluster universities and later migrated to PSTU must also complete the online form by August 18, uploading fee receipts from their prior university. After verification by August 18, students must log in to download and print the Acknowledgement Slip. If fees paid are less than PSTU’s faculty requirements, the balance must be settled per the notice. All students must collect, sign, and submit 10 forms to the Dean’s office. Only those completing the online form will receive hall assignments.
