Senior Staff Nurse Recruitment Exam Likely in May
The Public Service Commission (PSC) is preparing to hold the recruitment examination for Senior Staff Nurse positions in government hospitals around mid-May, sources indicate. The exam aims to fill 828 vacant posts across the country.
According to PSC sources, the commission is currently managing multiple non-cadre recruitment exams alongside BCS tests. Work on the Senior Staff Nurse recruitment is progressing, with arrangements underway for the exam to take place in mid-May.
When contacted, PSC Public Relations Officer S.M. Motiur Rahman told The Daily Campus: “The date for the Senior Staff Nurse exam has not been finalized yet. However, it could be held within the month of May.”
The PSC published the recruitment circular for Senior Staff Nurse on 31 August 2025. The positions fall under the Directorate of Nursing and Midwifery in the Health Services Division and are at 10th Grade. Currently, around 2,700 Senior Staff Nurse posts remain vacant nationwide.
