BAU Student Fuad Hasan Dies in Road Accident Before Visiting 64th District

Fuad Hasan, a student of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), tragically lost his life in a road accident in the early hours of Tuesday, September 2, around 6:00 AM in Dhaka’s Uttara area.
Professor Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman Sarker, General Secretary of the BAU Teachers’ Association, confirmed the incident, stating that Fuad was critically injured in the accident. Local residents rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the attending doctor declared him dead.
Fuad, a resident of Shahid Shamsul Haque Hall at BAU, enrolled in the Faculty of Agriculture during the 2016-17 academic year and completed his undergraduate degree. He later earned a postgraduate degree from the Department of Agricultural Extension Education. His hometown was in Naogaon Sadar Upazila.
Professor Asaduzzaman shared, “Fuad was an avid traveler. He had explored 63 districts of the country on his motorcycle, with only Bhola remaining unvisited. Perhaps it was fated that his life would end with his bike.”
The news of Fuad’s untimely death has cast a pall of grief over the BAU campus. Classmates, friends, and teachers have expressed profound sorrow at his passing.
