The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee released the revised routine for the postponed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations on Wednesday afternoon (23 July). The postponements were necessitated by the tragic fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, on 21 July, floods in Cumilla, and an attack on an NCIP gathering in Gopalganj.

The following chart summarizes the revised exam schedule:

Physics (Theoretical) 1st Paper, Accounting 1st Paper, and Logic 1st Paper, originally scheduled for 10 July (Thursday), will now be held on 12 August (Tuesday). This applies only to the Cumilla Education Board.

Geography (Theoretical) 2nd Paper, Higher Music (Theoretical) 2nd Paper, Arabic 2nd Paper, and Pali 2nd Paper, initially set for 17 July (Thursday), are rescheduled for 14 August (Thursday). The latter three exams will take place from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and apply only to Gopalganj district under the Dhaka Education Board.

Chemistry (Theoretical) 2nd Paper, History of Islam and Culture 2nd Paper (Humanities), History 2nd Paper, Home Management and Family Life 2nd Paper, and Production Management and Marketing 2nd Paper, originally planned for 22 July (Tuesday), will now be held on 17 August (Sunday). These exams apply to all general education boards.

Economics 1st Paper and Engineering Drawing and Workshop Practice 1st Paper, initially scheduled for 24 July (Thursday), are rescheduled for 19 August (Tuesday). These exams apply to all general education boards.

The Milestone tragedy, which killed at least 32 people and injured over 150, prompted the postponement of the 22 and 24 July exams, with a revised date to be announced. Earlier disruptions included floods in Cumilla and an attack in Gopalganj, leading to the postponement of exams on 10 and 17 July.
