Jahangirnagar University Announces 2025-26 Admission Test Dates

The undergraduate first-year admission tests for the 2025-26 academic session at Jahangirnagar University (JU) will be held from December 21 to 31. Deputy Registrar (Education) and Member-Secretary of the Central Admission Test Committee, Mohammad Ali Reza, confirmed this to The Daily Campus on Wednesday night (November 12).

He said, "In today’s meeting of the Central Admission Test Committee, it was decided to conduct the 2025-26 session admission tests from December 21 to 31. This year’s tests will be unit-based, as in previous years."

Although plans were made to hold the exams in divisional cities for the first time, due to technical reasons, all tests will be conducted on the university campus.

Last year, JU conducted admission tests across seven units, including JU-IBS. These were:

• A Unit: Mathematical & Physical Sciences Faculty
• B Unit: Social Sciences Faculty
• C Unit: Arts & Humanities Faculty, Law Faculty, and Institute of Comparative Literature & Culture
• C1 Unit: Drama & Dramaturgy, and Fine Arts Departments
• D Unit: Biological Sciences Faculty
• E Unit: Business Studies Faculty
