Government Lowers LPG Prices

Consumers are set to experience financial relief as the retail price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been revised downward for the month of June. The price of a standard 12kg LPG cylinder has been slashed by BDT 55, bringing the new consumer retail rate down to BDT 1,885 from the previous month's pricing.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) officially announced the newly adjusted pricing structure on Tuesday. According to the state regulatory watchdog, the downward price adjustment is scheduled to go into effect across the country from 6:00 PM today.
