DU Admission Applications Start Tomorrow: All You Need to Know
Applications for the 2025–26 undergraduate program admission tests at Dhaka University (DU) will commence tomorrow, Wednesday (October 29), and continue until November 16. The notification was published on the university’s website on October 20.
According to the circular signed by Acting Registrar Munsi Shams Uddin Ahmed, only students who passed SSC or equivalent between 2020–2023 and HSC or equivalent in 2025, and meet the unit-specific eligibility criteria, can apply.
Applications can be submitted online from 12:00pm on October 29 to 11:59pm on November 16. The application fee is Tk 1,050, payable at any branch of four state-owned banks (Sonali, Janata, Agrani, Rupali) or online via debit/credit card or mobile financial services.
Admission Test Schedule:
- Fine Arts Unit (General Knowledge & Drawing): November 29, 2025 (Saturday), 11:00am–12:30pm
- Business Studies Unit: December 6, 2025 (Saturday), 11:00am–12:30pm
- Arts, Law & Social Sciences Unit: December 13, 2025 (Saturday), 11:00am–12:30pm
- Science Unit: December 20, 2025 (Saturday), 11:00am–12:30pm
- IBA Unit: November 28, 2025 (Friday), 10:00am–12:00pm
Exam Centers: Except for Fine Arts and IBA units, tests for the other three units will be held in Dhaka and eight divisional cities: Rajshahi University, Chattogram University, Barishal University, Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University (Mymensingh), Kabi Nazrul University (Trishal), and Begum Rokeya University.
The decision was finalized at the General Admission Committee meeting held on October 20 at Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, chaired by Vice Chancellor Niaz Ahmed Khan.
