Dutch-Bangla Bank Offers Scholarships to SSC Passers: How to Apply
Dutch-Bangla Bank has announced educational scholarships for meritorious and financially needy students who successfully passed the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. The scholarship aims to support students during their higher secondary education, with online applications remaining open until September 4, 2026.
To qualify, applicants must meet specific GPA criteria excluding their fourth subject, varying by institutional location. Students from schools within city corporation and district town areas must secure a GPA-5, while those from rural and backward regions require a minimum GPA of 4.83.
Selected recipients will receive financial assistance for two years at the HSC level, including a monthly stipend of 2,500 BDT. Additionally, students will be granted 2,500 BDT annually for study materials and 1,000 BDT yearly for clothing allowances.
The bank has established specific distribution policies, reserving 90 percent of the total scholarships for students from rural and backward institutions. Furthermore, 50 percent of the scholarships are exclusively designated for female students, and recipients of government scholarships are ineligible.
Eligible candidates must apply online through the official portal or here by uploading scanned photos and academic transcripts. The primary selection list will be published on September 22, followed by document verification at bank branches from September 23 to October 13, 2026.
