Government will arrange Hadi’s treatment abroad if needed: Chief Adviser Yunus
Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus has met with the family of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson and prospective independent candidate for Dhaka-8 Sharif Osman Hadi, assuring full government support for his treatment.
The meeting took place on Saturday morning (13 December) at the state guesthouse Jamuna, where Hadi’s brother Abu Bakar Siddique and sister Masuma were present. Three Inqilab Moncho leaders – Abdullah Al Jaber, Fatima Tasnim Zuma, and Md Borhan Uddin – also attended.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to ensuring the best possible care for Hadi, the chief adviser said the entire nation is praying for him and everyone is striving for his recovery.
“Considering his physical condition, if treatment abroad is required, the government will arrange it wherever necessary,” he added.
Hadi’s sister said, “From childhood, he loved the country with all his heart and soul. He has been a revolutionary since he was young. He loved reciting the poem ‘Bidrohi’, and enjoyed performing it. He has a 10-month-old child. Hadi is our backbone. He has much work left to do; he must survive.
“You are the revolutionary government. By any means, you must save the July revolutionaries. Otherwise, the country’s independence and sovereignty will be at risk.”
