The National University’s 2025 Degree (Pass) and Certificate Course second-year examinations will begin on November 23 and continue until January 7, 2027. Examinations will start at 1pm on each scheduled day. The university announced the schedule in a notice issued on Monday (October 12).

According to the notice, the university reserves the right to change the examination schedule without assigning any reason. It also said notices published on social media platforms other than the National University’s official website would not be considered valid. The notice outlined eight instructions for the examinations.

Eight instructions for examinees and colleges

1. Safekeeping of question papers: Question paper packets must not be taken out of the treasury until all theoretical examinations have been completed.

2. Distribution of admit cards: College principals must download and print candidates’ admit cards from the university’s examination management system at ems.nu.ac.bd using their college passwords. The distribution of admit cards must be completed at least three days before the examinations begin.

3. Verification of admit card information: Before distributing admit cards, principals must verify candidates’ names, registration numbers, academic sessions and subject codes against the registration records. They must then sign or affix their facsimile signatures to the admit cards. The relevant principal will be held responsible for any incorrect information.

4. Subject codes: Candidates must sit for examinations according to the subject codes mentioned on their admit cards.

5. Practical examinations: The venues, dates and times for practical examinations will be announced later. Candidates must obtain this information on their own responsibility. Candidates taking practical examinations must pay the practical examination centre fee to the relevant practical examination centre.

6. Roll lists and centre fees: Colleges must download candidates’ roll lists from ems.nu.ac.bd and print two copies, retaining one copy at the college. Of the Tk 450 collected as the examination centre fee, Tk 300 must be paid to the officer in charge of the relevant examination centre at least three days before the examination. The remaining Tk 150 must be used to cover examination-related expenses at the college.

7. Required documents: Candidates must show their original registration cards and admit cards when attendance is taken in the examination hall.

8. Checking official updates: All examination-related information and instructions will be available on the National University’s official website. Candidates have been specially advised to visit the website at least three times a day, in the morning, afternoon and at night, throughout the examination period to check for urgent updates.
