Islami Chhatra Shibir Wins 16 out of 21 Central Positions, Including the Top 3

 Vote counting from all 38 centres and one hall (Begum Rokeya Hall) has been completed for the Jagannath University Central Students' Union (JnUCSU) election.

On Wednesday midnight (8 January), Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Mostofa Hasan officially announced the results.

The Islami Chhatra Shibir-backed Adommo Jobian Oikya panel secured victory in 16 out of 21 central positions.

• Vice-President (VP): Md. Riazul Islam (Shibir)
• General Secretary (GS): Abdul Alim Arif (Shibir)
• Assistant General Secretary (AGS): Masud Rana (Shibir)

Vote Breakdown (38 Centres)

• VP: Md. Riazul Islam – 5,598 votes Closest rival AKM Rakib (Chatra Dal-supported, Chhatra Adhikar President) – 4,688 votes
• GS: Abdul Alim Arif – 5,475 votes Khadijatul Kobora (Chatra Dal) – 2,203 votes
• AGS: Masud Rana – 5,020 votes Tanzil (Chatra Dal panel) – 3,944 votes

Begum Rokeya Hall (Women's Hall) Results

In the only women's hall, the Shibir-backed Adommo Jobian Oikya panel won 10 out of 13 positions. Among them:

• VP: Jannatul Ummi Tarin (Shibir) – Informal winner
• GS: Sumaiya Tabassum (Shibir)
• AGS: Redwana Khawla (Shibir)

This marks a significant victory for the Shibir-supported panel across both the central union and the women's hall.
