Writ Filed to Postpone 50th BCS Exam; PSC Maintains It Will Proceed on Schedule
A writ petition was filed in the High Court yesterday (Wednesday) by four candidates seeking a stay on the 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination. Despite this legal move, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced that the exam will not be deferred and is set to take place exactly as scheduled.
On Thursday morning, PSC sources confirmed that they are preparing to contest the writ. The commission's legal officer will represent their stance in court, ensuring that the examination process remains unhindered.
Speaking to The Daily Campus, PSC Public Relations Officer S.M. Matiur Rahman stated, "The 50th BCS preliminary examination will be held on time. All examination centers have been instructed to make necessary arrangements for the test."
