TikTok Reveals Most Searched People and Places in Bangladesh in 2025

TikTok has released its list of the most searched topics in Bangladesh for 2025. The list highlights the areas that captured the highest user curiosity this year, ranging from music, sports, and travel to showbiz celebrities, popular dramas, and top news stories.

According to the 2025 list, Bangladeshi users are now using TikTok not only for entertainment but also for everyday needs. From following current trends and learning about sports personalities to discovering travel destinations or picking up new skills, people are increasingly turning to TikTok for quick and reliable information. Locally created content in simple and native language has played a major role in helping users access information faster.

Umais Naveed, TikTok’s Content Operations Lead for South Asia, said: “Everyone now wants quick information, advice, and explanations. Whether it’s major sports moments, where to travel on holidays, learning something new, or checking reviews before buying, Bangladeshi users are relying on TikTok for all these. This year’s top searches show how TikTok is connecting people with culture, community, and daily life.”

The list of most searched places in 2025 included both international destinations and familiar local spots. Popular celebrities, dramas, songs, and specific content trends also dominated the searches, reflecting Bangladesh’s pop culture landscape. Some content tags saw significant growth this year: #TravelTok searches increased by 63 percent, #FoodTok by 40 percent, #BookTok by 41 percent, and #LearnOnTikTok recorded the highest rise with a 66 percent increase compared to the previous year.

The most searched categories are listed below (in no particular ranking order):

Showbiz Celebrities Yash Rohan, Hania Amir, Tanzia Zaman Mithila, Tasnia Farin, and Shabnam Faria topped the list of most searched personalities.

Music Artists Riyad Ahsan, Talwiinder, Lalon Band Sumi, Pritom Hasan, and Taylor Swift were among the most searched musicians.

TikTok Creators Nusrat Jahan Antara, Rathi Ahmed, Iftekhar Rafsan, Salman Mukhtadir, and Omar Always On Fire were the most searched creators.

Sports Personalities Lamine Yamal, Zayan Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suárez were among the top searched athletes.

Most Searched Places Dubai, Mymensingh, Jamuna Future Park, Disneyland, and Fatikchhari Mini Kashmir topped the list of most searched destinations.

Most Searched TV Shows/Drama Anurager Chhowa, Kusum, Kotha, Bachelor Point, and Porinita were the most searched dramas and shows.

Notable Moments of 2025 Among the most searched events were Ballon d’Or 2025, Miss Universe Bangladesh, Blood Moon, New Police Uniform, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Most Searched Songs Tafsir Sharon’s “Sonar Tori”, Pritom Hasan and Dola Rahman’s “Chand Mama (Borbad Cinema)”, Ishan and Shubhendu Das Shuvo’s “Gulbahar”, Manu and Anural Khalid’s “Jhol”, and Ritu Raj and Nandita’s “Bulbuli” were among the top searched songs.

Other notable searches included AI Photo Edit, Creator Search Insights, Islamic Video, Mr. Bean, and Full Step Skin Care.
