BUET Admission Test Admit Card Download and Option Form Filling Begin
Admit card download and departmental option form filling have started for eligible candidates to participate in the pre-selection test for admission to undergraduate programmes at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the 2025-26 academic session.
Eligible students can collect their admit cards from 9:00 am today, Thursday (1 January). It has been announced that the admit card will not be available without filling the departmental option form.
The list of eligible candidates was published earlier on 17 December. In a message regarding the admission test admit card, it was stated that the admit card for BUET’s 2025-26 admission test can be downloaded from 9:00 am on 1 January.
According to a notice published earlier on BUET’s website, the list of eligible applicants for the 2025-26 admission test has been released. The admit card will be available for download from the website very soon.
Applicants must fill the departmental option form while downloading the admit card. This option cannot be changed later. It has been clearly stated that the admit card cannot be downloaded without completing the departmental option form.
BUET published the admission circular on 27 October. According to the circular, the admission test will be held on 10 January. The test for Module ‘A’ and ‘B’ categories will be conducted in two shifts — morning and afternoon. There will be no preliminary screening test this time. Selection of eligible candidates will be done solely through the written test. However, students will still have to appear in the viva voce as before.
The circular also mentioned that the application fee has been set at Tk 1,300 for the engineering departments, Urban and Regional Planning department, and Architecture department, and Tk 1,500 for the other categories. The list of selected and waiting candidates along with the merit position (tentative) will be published on 7 February.
