Jagannath University Admission Test Starts on Dec 5
Jagannath University (JnU) has officially announced the tentative schedule for the undergraduate (honors) and BBA first-year admission tests for the 2025–26 academic session. The announcement was made through the university’s admission portal and verified by the Office of the Dean of Faculties.
The admission tests will be conducted across five units, covering all faculties, with the following tentative dates:
- E-Unit (Faculty of Fine Arts): 5 December 2025
- A-Unit (Faculty of Science and Life & Earth Sciences): 13 December 2025
- C-Unit (Faculty of Business Studies): 26 December 2025
- D-Unit (Faculty of Social Sciences): 9 January 2026
- B-Unit (Faculty of Arts and Law): 23 January 2026
JnU follows a unit-based admission system, where candidates apply to specific faculty groups. The E-Unit, which includes Fine Arts, Music, and Drama, typically features both written and practical components. The A-Unit attracts science background students, while C-Unit remains highly competitive among commerce aspirants.
Prospective students are advised to regularly check the official admission website for updates, application start dates, and the complete admission policy. The application process is expected to begin in mid-November and will be conducted entirely online.
