Jahangirnagar University admission test date to be finalized today

The admission committee of Jahangirnagar University (JU) is meeting today to decide the date for the 2025-26 academic year's undergraduate admission tests.

The session, scheduled to begin at 2:00pm, may determine when the tests will be held.

Deputy Registrar (Education) Ali Reza confirmed the matter to *The Daily Campus* on Tuesday, saying, “The admission committee meeting will start at 2:00pm today. Determining the test date is on the agenda. We'll share details after the meeting.”

Sources said the early scheduling is due to the national parliament election expected in February 2026. Several universities have already announced advanced test dates to avoid clashes.

Last year, JU's 2024-25 undergraduate 1st-year admission tests began on February 9 and ran until February 17.
