Moumita Tops National Nursing Admission Exam

Moumita Akter from Trishal, Mymensingh, has secured the first position nationwide in the National Nursing Admission Examination for the 2024-25 academic year. A brilliant student of Shuktara Bidyaniketan, Moumita is the daughter of Emdadul Haque, a local businessman, and Mosa. Taslima Akter, a former reserved women’s councilor for wards 7, 8, and 9 in Trishal Pourashava.

 

According to family sources, Moumita excelled academically, achieving a GPA of 5.0 in her SSC from the Science stream at Shuktara Bidyaniketan in 2022 and another GPA of 5.0 in her HSC from the Humanities stream at Trishal Government Nazrul College in 2024. From a young age, her dream has been to serve humanity. Through relentless hard work, she has now achieved the top rank in the national nursing admission exam.

 

Moumita Akter shared, “Since childhood, my parents and I dreamed of becoming a nurse to serve people. That dream is now within reach. My parents have sacrificed so much for me. Their wish is for me to complete my academic curriculum at the country’s best institution with distinction and seize the opportunity to serve humanity.”
