Retail prices for petroleum fuels will remain unchanged throughout August, ensuring consumers continue paying the existing rates next month.

According to an official notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division on Thursday (July 30), current rates will stay in force across the country following approval from competent authorities.

Under the existing tariff structure:

  • Diesel: Tk 115 per liter

  • Octane: Tk 145 per liter

  • Petrol: Tk 140 per liter

  • Kerosene: Tk 135 per liter

The prices were last revised through a gazette notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division on May 31, 2026.

The government periodically reviews domestic fuel prices under its automated pricing mechanism, taking into account fluctuations in the international market alongside local economic factors.
