NSU Hosts “HR 360° Bootcamp: From Theory to Corporate Reality”

The Department of Management at North South University (NSU), in collaboration with nextjobz Ltd., successfully organized an insightful session titled “HR 360° Bootcamp: From Theory to Corporate Reality” on April 20, 2026.

The event was designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical corporate HR practices, offering students a deep dive into the evolving landscape of Human Resource Management.

Distinguished Guests and Speakers

The session was inaugurated by Dr. Nasar U. Ahmed, Professor and Pro Vice-Chancellor of NSU. The program was further graced by the presence of Dr. AKM Waresul Karim, Professor and Dean of the School of Business and Economics (SBE). Dr. Ziaul Haq Adnan, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Management, served as the host for the event.

Key industry perspectives were shared by prominent guest speakers:

  • Keynote Speaker: Md. Mehanazuddin Rupom, Head of HR & Admin at Amann Bangladesh Ltd., discussed modern HR practices and industry standards.

  • Guest Speaker: Shoeb Hassan, Chief Business Officer of NextJobz Ltd., provided valuable insights into corporate expectations and essential employability skills.

Focus on Career Readiness

Coordinated by Hamida Mosharraf Moniea, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management, the bootcamp offered a comprehensive overview of HR functions, real-world challenges, and emerging trends. The collaboration underscored the vital importance of experiential learning in ensuring students are professionally ready for their future careers.

The program concluded with a high-energy interactive session, where students engaged directly with the experts to gain clarity on various career pathways within the HR sector.
