DU releases admit cards for three more units

Dhaka University (DU) has published admit cards for the Science Unit, Arts, Law and Social Sciences Unit, and Business Studies Unit for the 2025-26 undergraduate admission tests. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging into the admission portal (admission.eis.du.ac.bd), the Online Admission Committee announced in a message.
Two units have already completed their tests: the Fine Arts Unit examination was held on Saturday (29 November) and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) test took place on Friday (28 November).
The remaining schedule is as follows:
- Business Studies Unit: 6 December (Saturday)
- Arts, Law and Social Sciences Unit: 13 December (Saturday)
- Science Unit: 20 December (Saturday)
All tests will be held from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Authorities have reiterated that results of all units will be published by 20 January, within one month of the respective tests.
Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof Dr Azharul Islam Sheikh told The Daily Campus on Sunday (30 November) that the Fine Arts Unit result is expected to be ready within 20 days, after which the central administration will decide the publication date.
IBA Director Prof Shakil Huda said the BBA result is scheduled to be released on or around 24 December.
DU Online Admission Committee member Prof Shariful Islam confirmed: “Each unit will publish its result separately within one month of the test. Since the last examination is on 20 December, all results will be out by 20 January.”
This year DU received 271,910 applications, about 57,000 fewer than last year’s 329,000. On average, 44 candidates are competing for each seat.
Unit-wise statistics
- Science Unit: 114,103 applications for 1,851 seats (61.64 per seat)
- Arts, Law and Social Sciences Unit: 107,701 applications for 2,934 seats (36.70 per seat)
- Business Studies Unit: 34,059 applications for 1,050 seats (32.43 per seat)
- Fine Arts Unit: 6,521 applications for 130 seats (50.16 per seat)
- IBA Unit: 9,052 applications for 120 seats (79.38 per seat)
Candidates are advised to download and print their admit cards at the earliest and follow all instructions carefully.
