Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Welcomes New Batches in Joyous Orientation
Under the theme "Nabo Anonde Jago, Aji Nobin Probhate" (Awake in New Joy on this Fresh Morning), Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College (HFRCMC) held a vibrant orientation program for its newest students yesterday, Sunday (May 3). The event, hosted at the Holy Family Auditorium, officially welcomed the MBBS Batch HF-27 and BDS Batch HFD-14 into the medical community.
The freshers were received with a cordial reception organized by the Holy Family Alumni Association and their immediate seniors from batches HF-26 and HFD-13. To mark the beginning of their medical journey, the college authorities greeted the newcomers with flowers, new white aprons, and thoughtful gifts.
The program was held under the leadership of the college Principal, Professor Dr. K.M. Mozibul Haque, alongside Vice Principal Professor Dr. Meherun Nessa and other senior faculty members. During the session, teachers introduced the first-phase curriculum and shared inspiring words to prepare the students for the academic rigor and ethical responsibilities of the profession.
The highlight of the event was the formal oath-taking ceremony. Standing before their mentors and peers, the new students pledged their commitment to the noble calling of medicine and dentistry, symbolizing their entry into a life of service.
The ceremony concluded with a call to excellence, as the faculty and seniors wished the new batches a successful and fulfilling journey ahead as they transition into their roles as future healthcare professionals.
