Form fill-up to begin on November 3, while question paper preparation will run from November 1 to November 20; results are expected on December 31.

The supplementary examinations for students who failed one or two subjects in the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations are likely to begin on December 2, subject to the preparation of question papers.

The information was obtained from sources at the Prime Minister's Office on Saturday (October 31). The schedule was outlined in a work plan signed by Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu, Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee.

According to the work plan, the application process for the supplementary examinations will begin on November 3 and continue until November 8.

Question paper preparation is scheduled to begin on November 1, two days before applications open, and will continue until November 20.

The work plan has set December 2 as the tentative date for holding the examinations, subject to the completion of question paper preparation. The results are expected to be published on December 31.

The 2026 HSC and equivalent examination results were published earlier on Saturday. Many candidates failed one or more subjects, prompting the initiative to arrange supplementary examinations for those who failed in one or two subjects.
