19 Colleges Proposed for Nationalisation: See Full List
The government has received proposals to nationalise 19 colleges across different districts. The Ministry of Education has initiated administrative measures, including feasibility assessments, to advance the process.
The Ministry of Education has instructed the authorities to prepare and send a report to the Prime Minister’s Office detailing the progress of the government takeover process for the colleges. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) is currently verifying information on the institutions.
A senior DSHE official told The Daily Campus that the ministry had sent information on the colleges proposed for nationalisation and that the directorate was reviewing and verifying the details.
According to the letter, the colleges proposed for nationalisation are:
