Actress and content creator Kaarina Kaisar has passed away while undergoing treatment for lung and liver complications in Chennai, India. She was 32.

Her father, former national football team captain Mohammad Kaisar Hamid, announced her passing in a Facebook post early Saturday morning, expressing deep sorrow and requesting forgiveness on behalf of his daughter.

Kaarina passed away around 1:00 AM on Saturday after her blood pressure suddenly dropped and could not be stabilized. Her father stated that arrangements are being made to bring her remains back home to Bangladesh following her official discharge from the hospital.

Prior to being flown abroad, Kaarina was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka for over a week due to worsening liver complications, where she was eventually placed on life support. On May 11, she was transferred to Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore, India, via an air ambulance for advanced medical care.

Doctors in Chennai had previously indicated that her physical condition was too critical to withstand a liver transplant or any major surgery. The medical team was focused primarily on controlling an active infection and managing fluid accumulation in her lungs in an effort to stabilize her condition.

Kaarina initialy gained widespread recognition as a digital content creator before expanding her career into acting and screenwriting. She was well-known for her contributions to popular OTT projects, including the Charki original series "Internship" and "36-24-36". Earlier in her career, she also worked as an intern at the English desk of a prominent news agency.
