Mohanagar & Bohemian Ghora to Stream on Netflix in Three Languages

Netflix has partnered with Hoichoi, the Bengali-first streaming platform and content studio, in a first-of-its-kind collaboration to bring acclaimed series, upcoming releases, adaptations and original stories to audiences across India.

Under the agreement, all Hoichoi series premiering over the next two years will be available exclusively on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The titles joining Netflix’s catalogue include Ashfaque Nipun’s acclaimed series “Mohanagar” and Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s “Bohemian Ghora” (“Shaadi Ka Siyappa”). Other productions include “Madam Inspector”, “Sampurna”, “Lojja”, “Eken”, “Anjaan Saaye”, “The Curse of Parnashavari”, “Bloodlines”, “The Adventures of Daadi & Jagga”, “Raat Abhi Baaki Hain”, “Achinta: Trial By Law”, “Queens” and “Parineeta: A Love Story”.

New Hoichoi releases will also premiere on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu alongside their Bengali debuts on Hoichoi.

Leading the upcoming lineup is “The Cursed Temple of Kauriburi”, a folklore-inspired horror series starring Jeetu Kamal, Solanki Roy and Paoli Dam. The series is scheduled to premiere on November 6, with more titles set to follow in the coming months.

The partnership will also see the two platforms collaborate on original series produced by Hoichoi Studios. The projects will reimagine selected Hoichoi stories through new adaptations, bringing fresh creative voices and perspectives to the narratives.
