Online-Offline Classes Decision: Meeting Scheduled for April 8
The Ministry of Education has called a meeting with all relevant stakeholders to finalise the proposal for introducing online classes in schools and colleges amid the ongoing global fuel crisis and power shortage.
According to a letter issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division on Monday (6 April), the meeting will be held on Wednesday (8 April) at 1:30 PM at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka.
The meeting will be chaired by the Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division. Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon will attend as the chief guest, while State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj will be the special guest. Secretaries of the Primary and Mass Education, Technical and Madrasa Education divisions will also be present.
The purpose of the seminar is to discuss how to continue educational activities while saving electricity and fuel, especially in the context of the war in the Middle East and the resulting energy crisis.
All concerned parties have been instructed to attend the meeting on time.
