All HSC Pass Students to Get University Admission Opportunities: Education Minister
All students who passed this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will have the opportunity to enrol in universities for higher education, Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has said.
He made the announcement on Saturday (October 31) while declaring the examination results at the Secretariat.
Speaking about the university admission prospects of successful candidates, the minister said every student who passed the HSC examinations this year would be able to secure admission, as more than 1.3 million seats are available in higher education institutions.
This year's HSC and equivalent examination results recorded a sharp decline, with 646,685 students passing under 11 education boards. The overall pass rate stood at 52.12%, the lowest in the past 10 years.
