RU ‘A’ Unit Admission Result Published
The long wait for thousands of aspirants has finally ended as Rajshahi University (RU) officially published the results of the 'A' Unit (Humanities) undergraduate admission test for the 2025–2026 academic session today. The results were made available on the university's official portal at 5:30 PM.
Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Director of the RU ICT Center, confirmed the publication to The Daily Campus, stating that students can now access their scores and merit positions by logging into the university’s admission website.
Key Statistics and Performance
The 'A' Unit exam, which covers the Faculties of Arts, Law, Social Science, and Fine Arts, saw a high level of competition this year. The exam was held on January 17 across several divisional centers, including Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Rangpur, and Barisal.

Shift 1: 52,657 students appeared out of 57,759 (91.17% attendance).
- Shift 2: 52,073 students appeared out of 57,756 (90.16% attendance).

Evaluation Criteria: The test was based on 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 100 marks.

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks were deducted for each incorrect answer.

Pass Mark: Candidates required a minimum of 40 marks to qualify for the merit list.

Qualifying students must now wait for the official notification regarding the Online Subject Choice process. Based on their merit position and departmental requirements (such as specific marks in English for the English Department or Law), students will be allotted seats in various departments.
With the 'C' Unit results already out and the 'B' Unit (Business) exams concluding today, the university is expected to begin the final admission and migration process in early February.
