HSTU Releases 2025-26 Admission Notice: 1,795 Seats Available

Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) has published the admission notice for the 2025-26 academic session undergraduate (honours) first year. A total of 1,795 students will be admitted across four units. Admission tests will be held from January 26 to 28, 2026.

According to the notice on the university website, students who appeared in HSC or equivalent exams in 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply.

A Unit (Agriculture & Veterinary) includes B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture with 375 seats, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with 80 seats, and B.Sc (Hons) Fisheries with 80 seats, totaling 535 seats.

B Unit (Engineering & Science Faculty) offers Computer Science & Engineering (60), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (60), Electronics & Communication Engineering (60), Food Processing Engineering (60), Agricultural Engineering (60), Mechanical Engineering (50), Civil Engineering (50), Bachelor of Architecture (30), Mathematics (B.Sc Hons) (80), Statistics (80), Chemistry (75), and Physics (75), totaling 740 seats.

C Unit (Business Studies Faculty) comprises BBA in Accounting (70), BBA in Management (70), BBA in Marketing (70), and BBA in Finance & Banking (70), totaling 280 seats.

D Unit (Social Science & Humanities Faculty) includes English (70), Economics (70), Sociology (60), and Development Studies (40), totaling 240 seats.

Applications must be submitted via https://hstu.ac.bd/admission/index. The fee is Tk 1,000 per unit, with an additional Tk 200 for Architecture applicants (total Tk 1,200). Applications open on November 16, 2024, at 4:00 PM and close on December 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
