Kazi Jesin Appointed as Director General of Bangladesh Television on One-Year Contract
The government has appointed Kazi Jesin as the Director General (Grade-1) of Bangladesh Television (BTV) on a one-year contractual engagement, according to an official notification issued on Thursday, August 6.
The order was issued by the Contract and Foreign Recruitment Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration.
The appointment has been made under Section 11(2) of the Bangladesh Television Authority Act, 2001. Under the terms of the notification, Jesin is required to relinquish any other profession, business, or working relationship with government, semi-government, or private institutions and organizations from the date she formally assumes office.
The remaining terms and conditions of her appointment will be determined through a formal contract agreement.
