Cadet Colleges Achieve 100% Pass Rate in 2026 SSC Exams, 98.22% Get GPA-5

All twelve cadet colleges across Bangladesh have delivered an exceptional academic performance in the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, registering a flawless 100 percent pass rate and an outstanding 98.22 percent GPA-5 acquisition rate.

According to official statistics released on Monday, August 10, a total of 618 candidates appeared for the public examinations from the twelve residential institutions, with 607 students securing the highest grade of GPA-5. Operating under the Ministry of Defense and directly supervised by the Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army and President of the Cadet College Governing Board, these institutions focus on holistic character building, moral development, and co-curricular excellence alongside rigorous academic standards.

An institutional breakdown of the 2026 results highlights widespread excellence across individual campuses:

  • Faujdarhat Cadet College: 89 examinees, 89 passed, 81 GPA-5, 5 GPA-4.

  • Jhenidah Cadet College: 89 examinees, 89 passed, 84 GPA-5.

  • Mirzapur Cadet College: 51 examinees, 51 passed, 50 GPA-5, 1 GPA-4.

  • Rajshahi Cadet College: 89 examinees, 89 passed, 89 GPA-5 (100% top grades).

  • Sylhet Cadet College: 58 examinees, 58 passed, 58 GPA-5 (100% top grades).

  • Rangpur Cadet College: 50 examinees, 50 passed, 50 GPA-5 (100% top grades).

  • Barishal Cadet College: 52 examinees, 52 passed, 52 GPA-5 (100% top grades).
