The number of educational institutions achieving a 100 percent pass rate in the Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations has declined significantly compared to the previous year, according to official results released on Monday, August 10.
Data from the 2026 examination outcomes indicate that a total of 669 institutions across the country recorded a flawless pass rate, with every participating student successfully passing. This represents a sharp decrease from the previous year, when 984 institutions achieved the milestone.
The figures reflect a one-year reduction of 315 institutions recording a 100 percent pass rate, highlighting an overall tightening of academic performance metrics across the country's education boards during this cycle.
