Government Working to Ensure Inclusive Education, Says Bobby Hajjaj

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj has reaffirmed the government's commitment to building an inclusive education system, emphasizing that physical or other limitations should never stand in the way of a child's dreams.

He made the remarks as the chief guest at a special screening and discussion of 'Payer Chhap'—a documentary produced by Impress Telefilm on Ayesha, an indomitable young woman born without arms—held at the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) auditorium in Tejgaon on Thursday (July 30).

"Perseverance, consistent study, and self-confidence are the key drivers of success for students," Hajjaj stated. "With focus and dedication, students can achieve their aspirations to become doctors, scientists, teachers, astronauts, or serve in the highest offices of the country."

He noted that Ayesha's life story demonstrates how determination can triumph over adversity, but stressed that her success should not remain an isolated instance. He called on families, society, and the state to work collectively so that every child with special needs can overcome limitations and move forward.

Hajjaj added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the government is actively working to establish an inclusive education framework where no child is left behind and equal opportunities are guaranteed for all.

Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister, the state minister highlighted that Ayesha has already been appointed as a Class Supervisor at Gaibandha BIAM Laboratory School and College, describing the initiative as a bright testament to the government's commitment to merit, capability, and humanitarian values.

Chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of BUTEX, the event was attended by students and faculty from BUTEX, representatives from various educational institutions in the Tejgaon area, and media personnel.
